Dear Laju, I have been in a lot of failed relationships to the point where I have almost lost hope in relationships. I want to be in a good relationship that is pleasing unto God but I am scared of going into
another failed relationship. I don’t know what to do anymore.

Hello dear. Thank you for your question. Fear has torment. There is no fear in love. Perfect love casts away fear. You know someone who has perfect love? His name is Jesus. While there is no guarantee that people will not hurt you-I mean let’s face it, no one is perfect-you can be sure that you can trust God. I want you to practice trusting in him. When you do that, your heart will be healthy enough to enter a new relationship secure in God’s love for you and regardless of how the next one works out, you’ll be just fine.

Also, I need to tell you that there are good relationships out there. You must expect such and prepare yourself to be the kind of lady that your kind of man is looking for.

Beyond that I want you to be comfortable in your skin, improve yourself the way you need to and cement yourself as a confident woman in God. Don’t forget that the Holy spirit is in you to will and to do of God’s good pleasure. You don’t please God by your efforts, but by letting his spirit lead you in the right path.
